This side saddle works great on my 870 express with stock furnature (forend and stock). Pluses- Doesnt require modification of the forend. Assembly takes 1 minute. Nuts and bolts hold it on, replacing the factory pins, ensuring that the gun doesnt fall appart. It is made very sturdy, you could probably drop a cinderblock on this thing and not leave a mark. Minuses- Bolts and nuts look a little strange when you first put it on the gun, but they dont hang or get in the way, I never notice them now. I would have bought the 6 shot saddle instead, had I realized how simple it was to chop off a piece of the forend. Great product, great price, and fast shipping.
