||Excellent short-range sight - 11/14/2006|
|Reviewer: ||Matthew P Moore|
|This sight is light, compact, and durable. It looks like it would survive harsh treatment at least as well as whatever gun you mount it on.
It's greatest advantage is fast target aquisition at all light levels, without batteries. The sight does not magnify, and the dot is projected to optical infinity, so you can keep both eyes open and focus on the target. This is just what you want for a self-defense long gun, or a hunting gun that is intended for 100 yard targets or closer.
Beyond 100 yards, the lack of magnification and the 6.5 MOA dot size will limit accuracy. This sight is not for precision target shooting or hunting prairie dogs at 300 yards.
I have two of them now, on a Ruger Mini-14 and a Kel-Tec SU-16, and they both live up to their advertising in all respects. I would have more of these sights if I had more guns to mount them on.

||best dot sight - 9/28/2007|
|I put one a Walther p22. I know what most of you are thinking, a 22? Thats right. At 60 yards I can hit a coke can every time. I have never been able to 2 eye open shoot, but now I can. I got lucky and bought mine for about $125. But thats because I work at a pawn shop. The best dot sight ive ever used and seen, it looks cool.|
