The POWER MAG is an extra heavy duty magazine designed to significantly increase reliability and service life, even when kept fully loaded and seated in a pistol for extended periods. POWER MAG FEATURES: Stainless Steel construction. Die-controlled tolerances held to +/-.001 inches. Integral base pad/base plate completely removable for convenient cleaning and maintenance. On 10RD, shroud removable also. Full length engagement, front to back, between the magazine tube retaining lips and the base pad/base plate grooves for maximum strength and reliability. 14 coils of aerospace grade Rocket Wire spring on 10RD mag. 11 coils of aerospace grade Rocket Wire spring on 8RD mag.

This mag works great- the black bottom fits right against the base of the 1911 making it look seamless. I purchased this as a gift for a friend. He loves it and is going to get more. I used it with his 1911 at the range, it loads well, doesn't stick, and had no problems with it.
