I put a CMP scout scope mount on my M-1 Garand then looked for a reasonably priced long eye relief scope to hunt with, Tried a cheap " Famous Maker" on there and got what I paid for. This bad boy however does the trick. It is clear and bright from in front of the reciever on my Garand and stands up to the shock of the big old 30.06 banging away all afternoon. It has excellent eye relief even at high magnifaction. At 100 yds i was making smiley faces on the head of the siloette. At 300 yds I was consistantly in the 9 ring on a life size siloette., did I say I was getting ready for deer hunting season?
