I couldn't believe how comfortable this is to wear. It stays put and keeps my J Frame secure. It is definitely slimmer against the leg without the padding.

I have already a reviewed this before, I needed another one for another piece and had to look up what I bought since the manufacturer does not mark the item in any way. Its been thru S%$t you cant imagine for two years and many cycles through the washer and dryer. It is currently coated with dust and still shows no wear. Literally zero frayed stitches. Stellar quality crazy cheap. The retention strap is not needed and can be tucked behind and forgotten. My SP101 has always held tight this way under all conditions (running, upside down, ect...) until drawn.

This holster is a little bulky with the attached pad. I took the pad off (its attached by velcro) and its a lot better and still comfortable. If you normally wear looser fitting pants you'll be fine with the pad. Overall, a great buy for the price.

Very nice holster, but you'd better have pretty wide-leg pants. I can barely get my bdus over it, and it bulges out a lot. But some cargo pants, or loose dress pants cover it fairly well; still quite visible though.
