Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark Partially Serrated Folding Knife
For those who prefer the heft and style of stainless steel handles, the new, improved Meadowlark SS is sure to be a hit. Its satin finished stainless steel handles feature chamfered edges for a comfortable, ergonomic grip and offer an ideal palate for engraving and personalization. The 8Cr13Mov stainless steel blade now features a full flat grind, offering superior edge geometry and low friction cutting performance. A four position pocket clip and sturdy back lock mechanism complete the package, providing completely ambidextrous operation and full range of carry options.

Serrated Blade -
A serrated blade has a cutting edge that has many small points of contact with the material being cut. By having less contact area than a smooth blade, the applied force at each point of contact is relatively greater and the points of contact are at a sharper angle to the material being cut.

8Cr13MoV -
Chinese stainless steel tempered at the Rc56 to Rc58 range and used in the Tenacious, Persistence, and Byrd lines of knives.

Stainless Steel -
group of corrosion resisting steels containing a minimum of 10% chromium and in which varying amounts of nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium as well as other elements may be present.

Ambidextrous -
Using both hands with equal ease. Pertaining to knives, it is a knife that is not solely designed for a left or right handed person but can be used with equal ease by both hands.
