It's okay, but far from perfect. I had to remove a small amount of plastic from the left side in order for my A4 upper receiver to fit well. This unit will also fit an upper with carry handle. Will not fit a non-mil-spec upper. The support rod that goes inside the upper is a bit loose, not sure how it will protect the upper from crushing when clamped. The lower block seems to be a good fit, but could be a little tighter.
