These are probably the best double mag clench devices I've tried yet, and when used with the proper PMAGs, they are pretty slick. I just tried them out on the range yesterday after having them bolted together and both PMAGS loaded for a week, and they worked flawlessly. Perhaps the only reason I didn't give it 5 bullets is that I have only had them for a few weeks and don't want to give such a high rating with only limited experience. Just in case you didn't know this, when you clinch two mags together, it's twice as heavy as it was before. You'd think that wouldn't be a big deal, and most of the time it isn't, but you notice it after a while. If your M4gery is already weighing too much with too many knick-knacks hanging all over, then having a second loaded mag will noticeably add to the weight. But the clinch/coupler itself weighs almost nothing, and is very sturdy once you get the two mags in place. While, I didn't do any rough use type drills with this thing, like dropping it on the ground in the rifle or such, it seems pretty sturdy with the PMAGs in it; a good bit studier than most other mag cinches I've messed around with before. Also, FWIW, I wouldn't recommend you screw and unscrew the cinch together all the time. Just set two reliable PMAGs aside and screw them in place as per Magpul's directions, and you will be good to go. If you need other single/loose mags, don't keep unscrewing these, they come with LocTite on the screws. Make it easy on yourself and just go get some more PMAGs. This is a great value for the price. If you think you are looking for a double magazine coupler, just buy this and two spare PMAGs if you need them; and you will like it. Very good value for the $$.
