I ordered this "Precision Fit" Limbsaver recoil pad and it's absolutely, positively, no-two-ways-about-it garbage. It sticks up from the butt stock end by a quarter of an inch and it also protrudes from the bottom of the butt stock end by an eighth of an inch, it’s like putting a size 13 shoe on a size 9 foot. It seems as if it can indeed decrease the recoil but what's the use of that when it protrudes and can get caught on things? Not to mention how horrible it looks. My only hope is that I get a full refund including the shipping that I paid for this monstrosity because it's just not fair that the company misleads people into buying their products and then they hype their products up by stating "Precision Fit" when nothing could be farther from the truth. I don't fault CTD for this because this is clearly the fault of the Limbsaver company with their false advertising. All it would have taken for Limbsaver to make this a good recoil pad was for them to get and properly measure a Mossberg 500 shotgun stock to insure that it was in fact a "Precision Fit" but no, as it stands it's "Precision" garbage. Lucky for Limbsaver that CTD doesn't have an extremely negative rating because that's exactly what this recoil pad deserves and would get.
