I bought this for my Maverick 88 12ga. I was going to buy a different one because it had a shotshell holder with it and it was cheaper. But I wanted something that would lessen the recoil so I could enjoy shooting a 12ga longer. So far, it meets my expectations. Very easy to install, it fits snug and it is very sturdy. FYI to future purchasers, before installing it, remove the stock from the tube. It will be easier for you to use the supplied tool to tighten the bolt if the stock is out of the way. I wish the forgrip fit the Maverick 88, but it doesn't and thats ok with me. This stock works as advertised in reducing muzzzle kick and recoil.

I attached this to a Mossberg 500 I picked up. I no issues on installation (very easy). Went to the range the next day, and what a difference this stock makes. It makes 3" magnums feel like they're target rounds. I would highly recommend this product.
