I got this for my Yugo SKS because I am in the process of building a SVD. The stock is solid. I took my X-acto knife to each edge because it still had a small ridge from the mold. No big deal, though. It's a tight fit on my Yugo, but with a little elbow grease, it went in well. All and all, I'm quite happy with this and hoping to one day mount a PSO scope on it to finish out that SVD feel.
