Quality mount and good value. Other reviewers complained that the mount bolts were small for the rail slots. When mounted properly, experienced shooters know that the scope and mount has to be pushed forward before locking mount down, and that goes for any scope and mount. I shot 10 rounds, getting it on point and checking a 3 shot group. 3 shots, cold bore, 3/4 in MOA at 100 yd. Took mount off and put it back, then shot a 1/2 MOA group. Hitting the same hole at 100 yds is great for any mount. A+ CTD.

First, what's good about this product: it's made of good, solid metal; the rings tighten down evenly; and the quick release arm works as promised. However, this mount is useless on my AR-15 (M&P15 carbine), because the notches that fit into your rifle's Weaver rail are incorrectly sized. They are slimmer than the grooves on my weaver rail (stock body rail). This results in a loose fit where the scope can slide back and forth a tiny amount when firing the weapon. That tiny amount however translates to a 3-5inch margin of error at 100yrds. Frustrating. I have nothing negative to say about CTD. Their shipping is always fast, customer service is friendly, and their selection is outstanding.

This thing was just what I was looking for. The detachable and adjustable rear ring makes it versatile. It could fit most/any scope. I recommend it highly. It would've gotten 5 stars but one of the hex bolts isn't threaded properly, which is an easy fix.
