After reading over the specs, the product looked perfect and would be the perfect size to take a firearm to a range. However, I found that the foam would not stay in the case. It could be that the foam was to be able to be taken out, I am just not sure if that is the case though. Even when the foam is put into place properly, the items in the case still move around. My handgun and two magazines were sliding around while I was just trying to walk across the living room. This gun case has proven to be unreliable for traveling as little as 10 feet across a room. But it would be a good case to have for storing firearms at home.
