Easy to install with no tools. The barrel fit my 35 year old Revelation (Mossberg 500) perfectly. I did have to take my time to align the magazine tube screw because it felt like it could be easily cross-threaded. This barrel, along with the Knoxx BreachersGrip Recoil Reducing Pistol Grip, has the total length of the gun at about 30 inches. Before was about 50 inches.
