I have 2 of these for my 742 in 30-06 and they both perform flawlessly. They work just as well as the mag that came with the rifle that is getting rather worn.

I have used the factory magazine in a 7400 in .270w. The gun has been to the shop twice, and they said it had no problems. The second shop said they "fitted" the magazine. It still fails to feed or closes the bolt after a shot with a bullet in the chamber, but not cocked to fire, about 1 shot out of 4.
