Hollow point boat tail bullets have a hollow cavity in the bullet's nose that allows for expansion on impact and generates rapid expansion and penetration. The hollow point boat tail has a truncated conical shape at the base of the bullet- streamlining stabilizes the bullets and increases accuracy.
