I installed this stock in less than five minutes using only a flat blade screwdriver and a little coaxing. It has a good snug fit. Although the stock covers a small portion of the saftey button I have no problem operating it. Folded, the stock is clear of the trigger guard and causes no problems reloading, even for my 30 round magazines. It locks solidly into postiton and, extended has a comfortable length. The recoil pad is about an inch thick and attaches with screws for easy replacement if needed. I haven't subjected the stock to much abuse yet,but I'm confident it will hold up well. And it looks good. A good buy.

More and more today you have to be careful of what you think you're buying and what you end up getting stuck with. This product is an A+ all the way. The folding stock is of high quality, fine worksmanship and a very easy fit. I took my time and had my 10/22 switched over in about less than 10 minutes, perfect fit ! The folding stock is very solid, easy to swing open and easy to close. Also a big plus is, it looks great. I carry it folded up in a lockable, water-proof tool box on my John Deere Gator. The only regret I have is I wish I had ordered 2 right away.

Nice little stock that adds to the entertainment of 10/22 plinking fun! I like the sling attachment nect to the stock's folding joint, for it allows my AR's tactical sling to be used on it as well. The folding stock itself is really well built, solid, not flimsy at all and even has a plastic tube on the top metal bar. When installing my 10/22's receiver/barrel/trigger group I had to really push my receiver into this stock's receiver slot but it went in yet the rear of my receiver varies how much it sticks up out in front of my face. The receiver bolt screwed in and tight with no problems, yet the barrel band could only be attached by pushing the barrel into the "C" cupped barrel groove which made my reciever's rear stick up even more out of the stock ... right in front of my face. Makes me feel like my barrel is being bent even though I doubt it seriously, yet the barrel's harmonics definitely has to be affected by this. Maybe later on I will get creative with a stock bedding kit and a knife to make the stock fit my rifle. I added the Double Muzzle Brake (RGR-041) and a high cap magazine to make my 10/22 look like an Assault Rifle, sure to make Charles Shumer, Feinstein and Kerry MAD! :D

I knew this was a good stock when I bought it, but I am still amazed at how solidly the folding stock locks in BOTH the closed and open position. Looks great and feels very solid. I have no problem recommending this.

As ammo prices continue to soar, I've been looking for an alternative to buying .223/various 7.62/5.45 and other military ammo while practicing using the accessories I use on my M-4. This is a solid stock all around. It fits the contours of my stainless barrel quite well, and the factory knockout for the 10/22 came out rather easily. The receiver and barrel fit snugly within the stock. For those who are used to a good ComBloc folding stock, beware this assembly seems unwieldy when compared to Eastern European folding stocks with a seemingly unnecessarily large rear assembly and a gap on the inside left side when the stock is extended or folded. However, the stock locks very solidly in both the open and the closed, a major plus when shooting from either position. An Eagle 30 round magazine fits and functions with the stock in either position. A BMF activator will not fit with the stock folded. Also, beware using a 10/22 tactical rail with the stock. I didn't use the enclosed front end barrel spacer when I installed in, and the rail forward of the factory scope mount seems to slant downward. Consider filing down the portion forward of the stock barrel band attachment slightly to allow for a better fit, or find longer allen screws. I just moved to a new area and don't know where a good hardware store is, so maybe in time I can get some longer screws and fit this stock properly. Overall, this is a rock solid stock, and I recommend this to anyone who wants to spice up their 10/22 and give it a good "politically incorrect" look. Finally, I'm not a paid representative; I've just had good luck with this setup and want to share my good luck with others. May it work as well for you as it works for me!
