This is a really good replacement for the standard wooden stock that came on my Ruger 10/22. The pistol grip is textured for better grip and easier control of the gun, and the folding stock makes it easier to fit into a gun case or save room in the gun safe. It has a good drop-in fit and no problems to speak of. However, the recoil pad is a thick rubber pad that is a bit grabby, I like it because the gun stays put, but others may not like it.

This stock is awesome and likely will be banned in the future. Great deal for the price. It is a great item; love it. Nice, sharp checkering on the stock. The folding mechanism is perfect and strong. The gun dropped right in. I'd watch to not over-tighten the barrel clamp. A very solid stock. MUST buy!

The folding stock and its components are very robust. I can see this lasting a long time, through heavy use and some bag time. Fold this sucker up and it fit in my BOB like it was its womb.
