I have killed two deer with this ammo. The first being an 8 point buck and the other being a doe. Both were dropped in their tracks. I got the doe in the neck, blew out both her shoulders and broke her back in two places! My husband said he has never seen a 30-30 do such damage to a deer. Both of us swear by this ammo and don't want to use anything else!

I have a Winchester 94 Timber Scout. Always a good shooter. I have put every 30-30 shell made thru the gun, but the Hornady LeverEvolution shoots like a varimit gun. This is the only lever action ammo in my mind.

I have a modle54 and it's bine past down from my grandfather to my mom than to me.My grandfather used winchester shells and I did to until I saw the hornady 30-30 rifle shells my grandfather borrowed the gun for a month and he killed 4 deer and a week later I killed 2 deer.

I bought a box of this stuff and headed to the range with some friends. I have 30 year old Model 94 sighted in at 100 yards with Remington 150 gr round nose. We decided to try the long range claims on an 18" steel plate at 300 yards. Surprisingly I was able to hit the plate on the third shot, then every shot after that (as long as I did my part) and that is with open sights. I wouldn't hesitate to take a 300 yard shot at all.

killed two deer this year with leverevolution. A 8 pointer and a doe both ran thirty yards and fell over dead. I will never buy any other bullet again.
