I clean my barrel well, i do a good job, least' i thought. I had a model `13 s&w, cleaned. Ran a lead away through it, and it came our BLACK..... Now i KNOW my barrels are clean, lol....

I purchased a pack of these for my .357's. When I shoot cheep .38's through them, the cylinder builds up bad with lead, so bad that you may not be able to insert .357's until it is cleaned. After cleaning my cylinder the 'normal' way, (hoppes), the cylinder looks quite clean. Run a Lead away through it, and it will get even more lead out, MUCH more. I love these little things, and plan on buying more.

I bought a pack of these several months ago and just threw it into my cleaning bag. Today while cleaning 4 handguns from a day of shooting I decide to try it on one of the guns that I was picking up a little black in the patches. I couldn't believe how much lead was coming out of what I thought were clean barrels. I went back to guns I had already cleaned with several solvents and different brushes and used these patches and still pick up lead and gunk that other stuff leaves behind. They work great. Bob
