Awesome product! It is best used when you have finished cleaning your firearm with your favorite powder solvent to wash away all remaining solvent residue and dissolved powder fouling. Contrary to the suggestions on the can, I WOULD disassemble the firearm as you usually would because Polymer Safe Degreaser (aka Polymer Safe Quick Scub Action Cleaner) WILL wash away ALL lubricants it comes in contact with, and you will need to re-oil or grease your firearm. However, this is one of the things I like about this product is that it will wash away old gummy lubricants and leave bare, clean metal. It leaves absolutely no residue and evaporates VERY quickly, much faster than name brand brake cleaners which I use on larger parts due to price concerns. The only way this could be better is if it were offered by the case for a cheaper cost per can.
