The barrel is a great value for the money, especially when compared to the Remington barrels. However, the scope does not stand up to the recoil of a slug gun. I got 5 good shots out of it, then the reticle started moving with every shot. I put a better scope on it and now the gun is very accurate (1in groups @50 yards). The barrel I got is picky when it comes to ammo. Get a variety of sabot slugs to try what shoots best in yours. Besides the hickup with the scope, I am very happy with it.

I bought this a few months ago, and I will have to say that it is nice. It makes the gun a little heavier, but the gun was right on at approx. 125 yards. I would recommend this barrel to anyone with a 870.
