||The best speedloaders - 11/30/2008|
|Have used these models from safariland for years in various configurations, for k frames and n frame smiths as well as colt Python, and a few rugers. This model functions with the model 29 series (44 mag) s&w as well as the ruger redhawk. Much better than the hold the cylinder still..while you twist the knob to release other brand....simply push forward to release fresh rounds into the cylinder...a no brainer, just what you need under stressful situations. tough as well...first saw them demonstrated by being thrown baseball style into a block wall...without an accidental release of any rounds..the "glock" of speedloaders! Execellent item..the winner hands down.|

||Works on 45 LC revolvers, but not all. - 3/29/2014|
|These are not made for 45 Colt ammo but they worked on some of my revolvers. The Dan Wesson and 1928 Colt New Service worked well with anything. The S&w Model 25 with Magna grips would not allow the loader to line up at all. With different grips, the S&W would not work with A-Zoom snap caps or Federal ammo, but it did work with my reloads. The Colt Anaconda wouldn't work with snap caps but worked with Federal ammo and reloads. I do not have a Ruger Redhawk.
The 45 cartridges are tight and hard to load at first, but once they get broke-in, the function is great.|
