Bought these sights for my Springfield XDM9 3.8. They are hands down the best handgun sight I have ever used. Finding the front sight is quick and easy. Don't let anyone tell you these are not for precision. I was able to hit a torso sized plate at 80 yards 36 out of 39 rounds shooting about 3 rounds every 2 seconds. Pretty good for a 3.8 inch barreled handgun. You can be very accurate with these sights, but up close and personal (which is what a handgun is for), nothing will beat them. Installation was very easy as well despite hearing the horror stories with XD sights being too tight. This set works for both Sig and XD, so I'm not sure if that had a reason as to why the rear sight was loose. The set screws hold well and the supplied thread locker hold it down even more. Releasing the slide by using the rear sight on a shoe and/or holster has worked fine. The front sight took some fitting with a flat file, but not much was taken off. Just need a hammer, a file, a brass punch, and a sturdy vise.
