The patent pending XGRIP adapts the full-size M&P 9/40 15 or 17 round magazines for use in the compact pistol, incorporating the larger magazine into the compact's grip, increasing the capacity by 5 additional rounds of ammunition. Law enforcement and military personnel can carry the compact with a standard magazine when concealment is important, then insert the high capacity magazine with XGRIP when firepower and capacity become critical.

Bought this to go on my new full size 17 round magazines in my M&P 9c. Not sure why anyone else had problems. I have genuine S&W mags and these fit on them almost like the one that came with the gun. One is tighter than the other but my original isn't that tight either. If you hold the mag and turn it upside down, the spacer does not slide off. However, if you hold the spacer and turn the mag upside down, the mag will slide out. No different than my original as far as not fitting and having to slam the mag home to get it to seat. Again, I did not have an issue. I normally slam my mag to guarantee it seats but also tried it with gentle pressure without fail. I'd buy again without hesitating, especially since S&W wants a lot of money for an original.

i like it. No, it's not completely firm and it slides up and down some, but not much. I never had a problem with it or loading the mag. Looks good, covers the gap and gives me more handle to grab.

Nicely textured, very similar to the M&P grip feel. The bad: x-grip fit very loose on all 3 mags i have, it would slide right off when the mags turned upside down. Also made it very hard to seat the mag in the gun, had to slam the mag just to get it to lock even with the slide open and no rounds in the mag. Ended up taking 20 min to sand down the top to get it to lock in with reasonable effort and glued the x-grip to the mag so it wouldnt slide off, the x-grip is also molded slightly off and overhands/underhands the grip somewhat, thought it would be a much better fit, overall disappointed, but does work with some modifications
