The WILSON SHOK-BUFF® prevents the slide from battering the frame during recoil by sandwiching a 1/10" thick poly fiber buffer between the slide and frame contact areas. I have bought these before and they work great. I originally bought it for my Glock 21SF and my Glock 17 G4. They do not fit G4 models. Pefect fit on the 3rd Generation models though.
