I ordered this for my Mossberg 930 SPX. It has a short rail with a ghost ring site on it. This mounted perfectly and the off set was just right. Looks a lot better than the mount I had on the front with a tube clamp.

I ordered this not knowing exactly how it would mount on my AR-15 with Troy TRX 9" rail. My Surefire G2 LED fit perfectly and mounted to the rails-+ it fits snuggly between the rows of rails making a nice low profile appearance. This same setup works well on my Mossberg 930 SPX with Aimpro Tri rail, as a matter of fact I like it so much I am going to get the exact same setup for my 930. I also have the vltor standard mount which is not offset and after using this one I will be selling the standard mount as I prefer this low profile offset mount. It is of very high quality and will definately stand up to anything you can throw at it. I also very much like the big knobs for tightening, no tools required. Overall an outstanding product.
