I put two of these on a Hammers 1-4 CQB scope and locked the scope to them with Loctite. Shooting a DPMS AR-15, I've taken the scope on/off about 20 times so far. Scope stays exactly sighted in. Point is, if you put in the same slot every time, it will lock down exactly the same each time. I don't think you need to put an expensive quick release on unless you just wanna look pretty.
