The batteries that came with this item lasted less than 15 minutes total. Put the batteries in sighted one rifle at 25 yds then took batteries out readied next rifle and repeated. Took the rifles to the range, adjusted scopes, came home to check the boresighter again and the batteries died while in the first rifle. Haven't bought new batteries to see if it was just the batteries, but I'd spend my money on a different brand.
