I put this brake on my RRA LAR-15 mid-length because I'm into tactical shooting drills and liked the idea of faster follow up shots. When I got it, it was a little scuffed, but the fact being that it was going on the end of my barrel I really didn't care. I took it out to the range and immediately noticed an increase in felt recoil in my shoulder (I also put on a Magpul enhanced rubber buttpad, negating some of said recoil) but vertical muzzle climb was virtually eliminated. Using a 4X ACOG from about 10m, I was able to very rapidly put 10 shots into a 3" group, dead center on the target. I wouldn't have even thought to try that with the original A2 flash suppressor. The aggressive teeth on the end are a nice bonus (stay away, zombies). Very impressed with what I've seen so far. Well done, Troy Industries!
