I bought about 250 rounds of this stuff to go through my American Tactical Industries full size 1911 and it shot pretty well at first. The ammo is so dirty and gritty that after I shot 100 rounds, the gun failed to feed and failed to eject. The sandy-like mess got stuck all in the action. Even after cleaning the gun multiple times, I couldn't get the slide to feel smooth anymore. I finally shot about 20 rounds of brass cased PMC Bronze through it and the action feels so much smoother now. I believe it needed the clean ammo run through it to blow out all the dirty gritty powder left behind by the TulAmmo. It's just not worth the trouble to me to buy this ammo, even when it's a good price. I'd sooner buy the cheapest brass than any steel cased ammo. I have shot steel cased through my AK with no problems, but as far as shooting steel through my AR15 or 1911, I'll stick to brass.

Bought a 50 round box to shoot before I bought the big 450 round can. All of them went through my Sig P250 great but they were so dirty I couldn't even shoot a whole magazine worth before the smoke got so thick it was hard to see the target. It would probably be fine to shoot outside but it is VERY dirty.

Bought for range play. At this price, I figured why not. Ran 200 rds through the XD45 and Glock 30. Went bang EVERY TIME. Sent all 200 rds down range without a single hiccup. It smells like and is no dirtier than other ammo I've used for range play. Perfect range ammo. CHEAP and RELIABLE, and that's enough me. Would have given five stars, but it's still steel cased, cheap ammo.

For the price, it's hard to complain about anything you find wrong. I have shot a couple hundred rounds through my FN FNP, and have only had one or two misfeeds. Other than that, the chief complaint is that it's pretty dirty. But I clean my gun after each use anyway, so it's not a deal breaker. I recommend this to anyone looking for cheap practice ammo.
