I reviewed this a while back and it is a great product. I A m starting to see other reviews on other sits saying that people are concerned about scratching up the paint job on the windage drum. Here is my trick to save the paint. Put a penny in between the tool and windage drum pusher. The penny will push the drum over insted of the tool.

This sighting tool worked great. Took it out as soon as I got it and went to the range, as my rifle never has been zeroed before. After I got it sighted in, I was hitting 1-1/2" groups at 75yds, even though it was kind of windy. But overall, it is a great product for the price.

I was a little worried about this tool because the price was so low. I went for it anyway and boy am I happy with it! I already adjusted my elevation before I got this tool. I had to make an elevation tool out of an old Allen wrench ( I cut a slit right up the middle with a cut off wheel). My windage was stuck just as badly as the elevation. While I was waiting for this to arrive (only took four days), I kept the windage drum wet with automatic transmission fluid to help break it loose when the tool got here. Only took 10 seconds to get the tool on and break the drum loose. GREAT PRODUCT! MAKE SURE YOU SOAK THE SIGHT IN SOME KIND OF OIL FOR A FEW DAYS AND IT WILL WORK JUST FINE.

American made, what a novelty nowadays. I only used it to adjust elevation on the front post sight and it worked great.

Bought this item as per description, "AK/SKS." However, I was disappointed to find out I cannot adjust for elevation on my Yugo SKS because the tool will not fit over the front post. I know I can file it down, but for a tool as simple as it is, I expect it to work.
