These work perfectly on my steel AK-47 mags. Can't speak for the poly ones, since I won't buy one. Great for keeping the mags covered when they are in the tac vest. A must have for anyone who is packing multiple mags at any time.

Given the popularity and general convenience of carrying mags in kangaroo style pouches with no flaps or snaps to interfere with a magazine change, these are very much a necessity to keep water, bits of sand, and random debris out of your mags. You can't see it in the picture, but these covers are made out of a flexible polymer material that slightly grips/snaps over the end of your magazine. Best of all, I tested them and they work on all four of the types of ak-47 magazines I have at home.
