The stock enables you to fold it to the right to drastically reduce the length of the rifle. When needed, you can easily deploy it back to its open position for a rigid shooting platform. The stock even provides a sling attachment point in the knuckle. Stock was shipped quickly and arrived sooner than expected. It is solid when extended and comfortable when folded. I have a very slight gap between the stock and the receiver due to my own error. (Wait until you have a vise and have made an indentation to start the bit) My only complaint is the sling loop is too small and won't accept the surplus-style sling.
