G2 trigger groups offer an improved trigger pull of 3-4 pounds and eliminates the painful trigger slap found on many imported rifles. Constructed of 4140 tool-grade carbon steel that is heat treated to a 45-48C Rockwell hardness allowing for a perfect fit and function, trigger sleeve allows you to assemble the trigger group outside the rifle and drop it in as one piece. Each piece is finished in a military grade dark black oxide. Counts as 3 U.S. Sec 922r compliant parts, does NOT include retaining plate. Will not fit Saiga firearms that have not already been modified into a pistol grip configuration.

This trigger group is much smoother compared to the stock trigger group in my Saiga 7.62x39mm rifle. It was easy enough to install, but I have one issue. For some reason, and it's likely the way it was installed and not this trigger group, but my bolt catches on my hammer when I cycle the bolt. It's not enough to stop the bolt from cycling properly but it does slow it down. When I bring the bolt forward slowly, it will catch and stop the bolt. A quick smack or jiggle will lodge the bolt free and it slams forward. Like I said, it's most likely the way we installed it, and not the trigger group itself. This is a great trigger group and is very smooth. I'm a satisfied customer.
