Modeled after the popular RPK muzzle brake design, these screw-on slotted compensators are designed to dampen recoil and easily attach to standard AK barrels equipped with 14x1LH threads. The classic designs reduce recoil and muzzle rise during firing. Machined from high strength steel, each part is finished in Black phosphate and stamped "TAPCO USA". Each muzzle brake counts as one U.S. Sec 922r compliant part.

This is an awesome muzzle break. You can feel the pressure shoot back, though it feels weird. I put this on my AKMS, and it fit on perfectly and has a lot less recoil. Good product. A must buy for those looking to upgrade from a slant muzzle break.

Here is another great Tapco product that works exactly as designed for a great price made right here in the U.S.A. It reduces recoil and muzzle climb. Fits snug on the threads of my WASR-10. For better accuracy, I would suggest a little blue thread locker. It will be tight and take some torque to get it on, but will be worth it. Use an Allen wrench or a small screw driver through the side holes to get in in place.
