I love it. It works. Bolts on solid as a rock and does not move. I don't know what else you could ask for. I attached mine as close to to my Magpul rear sight as I could get it and the front of the riser lined up perfectly flush with the end of my receiver. Most importantly, this thing showed up in my mail box about 3 days BEFORE I was expecting it!

I purchased this 1/2" riser mount to achieve the correct height to utilize the flip-up iron sights through my red dot optic on an a DPMS in .223. It center-grabs the rifle rail so theres no chance of it being a little left or right, I've transferred it to various rifles (.223-.308) and shotguns (20ga-12ga 3" Magnum Turkey Loads), threads don't strip as long as a leverage bar isnt used to tighten it as if it were to be used on a safari magnum rifle. Note: mounting nuts are 1/2".
