Machined from super strong chrome moly steel tubing. The ten-shot extension allows for five more shotgun rounds. Ten shot extensions include a barrel magazine clamp and all extensions include a new spring. For 12 gauge only.

On a 26" barrel, it does stick out a little - not enough to keep it from functioning, but enough to make it give it an "underbite." Cosmetically, it looks better on a 28" barrel. It is 9+1 and you likely will have to grind tabs. Pain to do, but true of all extensions. Works better with a good steel follower than the cheap plastic ones in most 870s. Be prepared for a HEAVY gun when loaded - but it is a TON of fun to go shooting with.

First off, I assumed when it said 10-shot magazine extension, it meant a magazine tube extension for a total of 10 in the magazine... Nope! It is a 9+1. Well, 870s don't have a good reputation when it comes to keeping a round in the chamber, so for me, this is a 9-shot extension. It fit my 79 model Wingmaster with a 25-1/2 inch barrel almost perfectly flush with the barrel. It did NOT stick out past the barrel and I did not have to modify the old tube. People talk about tabs that need to be grinded off, but mine did not have this problem. All in all, fit and finish are great. It comes with one barrel to magazine clamp.
