I bought one of these from another source for 20 bucks more a couple years ago. It became my best friend and I felt naked without it. I also have the Strion filament bulb model, which came before. I thought that was a good light. The old ones would, more often than not, break the filament in the bulb if you dropped them. And, within an hour or two of use, new bulbs would blacken from heat and dim on full charge. It was still a good light. Then I bought CR LED model. Wow! It has 160 lumens in a sharp, penetrating beam, with very good scatter too. It makes white light, very little blue at all. What a wonderful new carry item. No more broken bulbs from small drops, no more dim yellow light, and no more lack of penetration in the woods. They are, however, not indestructible. It fell out of my motorcycle jacket pocket at about 75 mph and bounced down the road. I searched for 30 minutes on the side of that highway, at night, trying to find it. I did, but nothing happened when I clicked it on. I was bummed for days. So, I'm here to buy 2 more at this price. My Surefire snob of a buddy was so impressed, he bought one for himself. It has a better light, a rechargeable (about once a week for me) battery, memory modes, and is cheaper. BUY IT!
