Feels like plastic almost, but functions well and simply looks cool. Easy to install WITHOUT removing your AR barrel. Learned on youtube. Installed this one on my wife's DPMS and the 'punisher' one on my own DPMS. Sorry if i dont use the correct part-names. Work slowly, pay attention, and you wont lose the small "c-pin" or lose an eye from the port cover spring.

If you have a lefty AR, like the Stag15-2L, the ejection port door flips "upwards" and not "downwards" like a standard AR. Any Lettering will be displayed UPSIDE DOWN. Other than that, it'll look cool on a standard AR! :-(
