The SOG Aegis Knife features a 3.5" drop point blade made of AUS 8 stainless steel, .125" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade of this SOG knife has a non reflective black titanium nitride finish, a notched thumb rest, dual thumb studs, and S.A.T. assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black Zytel handle with Kraton rubber inserts, has DigiGrip checkering and a notched choil for secure grip, and the Arc-Actuated piston lock with safety switch. A side to side reversible bayonet pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this SOG knife. The SOG Aegis knife with black drop point blade has an overall open length of 8.25", and weighs 3.1 ounces.
