6.8 SPC Remington ammo from Sellier & Bellot with a 2500 fps 110 Grain Plastic Tip Special bullet, a hunting round with enhanced penetration and modest expansion.

Sellier and Bellot has been producing cartridge ammunition since 1825. Today they produce ammunition using high quality components which is used by hunters, competition shooters, law enforcement agencies and militaries around the world. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

The PTS bullet is the result of efforts of hunting cartridge designers to develop bullet with high wounding effects preserving concurrently excellent ballistic values. The bullet with lead core is covered with a strengthening casing and furnished with a polymer tip. Optimum shape enables the bullet to achieve higher speed, trajectory and stability. These characteristics insure excellent accuracy and wounding capability of the bullet that remains intact even at the moment of the strike, it does not shatter and it does not impair game. Together with Sierra and Barnes bullets, PTS bullets extend the range of rifle cartridges used for hunting and they extend possibilities of optimum choice for various kinds of use.

I have shot several boxes of this ammo. Functions great in my AR. Have killed numerous hogs up to 175lbs and did the job just as well as the SSA Sierra Pro-Hunters. Good round. Seems hard to find now.

I really liked this ammo in 6.8spc. I used it varmint hunting and dropped a coyote at 120 yds no issues and noticed that the hole that the ammo left is more than adequate for larger game such as deer. I am currently waiting to put that to the test. I highly recommend this ammo as it is very comparable to Hornady V-Max when it comes to accuracy and cleanliness.

After reading the previews two reviewers I had second thought, but having used S+B ammo before knowing their product made feel at ease. I am happy I did, very good ammo, no problems at all with it and after setting the sights on the rifle, groups were an inch or less at 50 yds. with 3-9x 40 Bushnell scope. Wish I could include pic of the target taken with the phone. To be fair next time I'll try Remington or Hornady just to compare ... but less than an inch at 50 yds. ? ... that's hard to beat !

Nope. 4 inch group with S&B: 1 inch group with SSA ammo. You decide.

Tried this already. You can do better, spend the money and upgrade. There is better stuff on the market.
