This Pelican rifle case is unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it strong and durable. Pelican's exclusive neoprene o-ring and ABS latches seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. This case is NATO codified and tested to MIL C-4150J (Military Standard), IP-67 (Ingress Protection) and ATA (Air Transportation Association), so it is plenty tough and ready to handle whatever comes your way.

I bought the 1720 case for a remington 700 milspec 5r with 20in barrel. I had seen these cases in Iraq and for good reason. They are very strong and i have no dought that the rifle and optic are protected from any type of abuse. They are expensive but worth it if ur serious about protecting ur investment. Strongly recomended.
