The Single Point Sling Attachment Plate from ProMag replaces the collapsible (4 or 6) position butt stock retaining plate allowing the rifle to be worn on either the right or left side. The plate is reversible and is constructed of black oxide carbon steel for long lasting durability.

Received and installed today. Previous reviews mentioned having to grind or file a flat on top for charging handle clearance. The part I received already had the flat.

Cheap crap. I wouldn't put this on my gun if you gave it to me for free. Not worth the intrinsic value of the "metal".

Put this on my Stag Arms SA8 Gas Piston AR, and the top of the ring was too tall and it blocked the charging handle. Had to break out a Dremel tool and grind it down, not that big of a deal, but still unsat.

Ring is much wider than stock ring. Charging handle dragged across the top of it because it stuck up too far. Had to grind a flat spot to fix.
