This block allows the user to work on and install parts to AR-15 / M16 lower receivers. The vise block is locked into the users vise. The block slips into the rifle's magazine well and is held in place by the rifle's magazine catch. Constructed of black injection molded polymer.

A must have item for the DIY AR15 owner.

To be nice about it, it wouldn't lock into my two Bushmasters or two S&W receivers. It is my understanding that it should "snap" into the magwell like a magazine would. Without it doing so, it will not hold the receivers securely enough. The title says it all. Maybe it is made for all of the out of spec receivers out there, because it is for sure out of spec.
