It looks exactly as displayed, but when I installed this on my Wasr 10/63 it was awkwardly high from the dust cover, probably a good 2 inches. Although once installed it was sturdy, just looked stupid. My opinion, buy the leapers, it sits way lower to the dust cover, and is more natural. And you still can take the dust cover off with the leapers.

Good quality, I like the distance above the top cover, makes easy to remove the cover for cleaning the rifle and it is easier view the iron sights.

Put it on a WASR-10. Fit like a glove with no play even before tightening the locking screws. The mount is the perfect height. The iron sights can be used, the receiver cover can be removed and the rifle field stripped. Solid construction. Wish I would have purchased before I spent money on the Firefield, which was crap, too many pieces and too extreme of an angle which messes with your eye relief.

I bought this cause. I didn't want the side rail the other one offered. It is well-built and looks nice, but is very tall. This thing cleared the top of my cover by an inch!
