Nice way to add some customization and better control to your 1911. I prefer the standard wood sideplates for traction but adding in the rubber grips is a great ergonomic option to improve handling, grip memory, and comfort. The material is fairly giving but compresses well. Wish they were fitted better, though- lots of excess material that hangs up around the wood plates. If they were sized better, I would have reviewed it at 5 stars.
