I got this sight for my Remington 870 express synthetic 12Ga w/ the extended magazine tube. As advertised, the groove in the sight is in exactly the right place for the mag tube brace. It grips the barrel well but, it is not 100% locked in place as far as left and right. There is a little side to side play (approx 1-2mm) where the sight can rotate. The amount of play is very small and for the ranges I will be shooting at, it doesn't make that much difference (remeber, it is a shotgun).

This product is a great idea! I have a Remington 870 Express and the front bead sight cannot screw off. This is perfect for it. Fits snuggly on the barrel and fits over my extended magazine tube well. Must have for the price!!
