Midwest Industries SS10, AR15, SS-Series, Carbine Length, One Piece Forearm, 10", Black.

Includes two additional Picatinny rail sections - one approx. 2" long (1.0 oz.) and one approx. 4" long (1.6 oz.) - that can be mounted anywhere on the forearm.

The SS-Series from Midwest gives you Made in the USA quality at an affordable price, and extremely light weight. It features a "no-gap" monolithic look on the fixed top rail, which is mil-std 1913 spec and T marked. Made of 6061 aluminum and hard coat anodized for a lifetime of service, the SS series is compatible with most gas piston uppers and requires minor gunsmithing for installation.

For the longest time I've been debating whether to get the Daniel Defense modular rail, the Troy Alpha modular rail, or Midwest Industries Gen 1 modular rail. I chose the Midwest and I am very happy I did so. When comparing the 10 inch MI rail to the others I have named this one is by far the lightest. It is also nice and small giving you an amazing purchase (grip) while controlling your firearm. If you decide to buy this rail you will not regret it, it's light weight and comes with rails to attach incase you may need a Magpul AFG or a flashlight of some sort, so you're not limited on what you can do just because it's modular. This rail is a must-have and looks flawless on my Daniel Defense upper. And when you see an avid Daniel Defense customer throw a piece of Midwest Industries on their all Daniel Defense rifle, you know this rail must be something good, and I honestly mean it!
