The Midwest Industries SS-Series Free Float Tube Handguard system is a one piece handguard with a complete top rail for a no gap monolithic look. Side and bottom rails are completely up to the operator, allowing a truly custom rail configuration. Machined from 6061 Aluminum, the SS-Series are among the lightest railed handguards available.

Specifications and Features:
Compatible with most gas piston uppers
Includes one 2" and one 4" rail section
Some gunsmithing required
Made in the USA

Comes complete with a proprietary steel barrel nut, bipod stud, barrel nut wrench, accessory rail mounting hardware and installation instructions.

I bought this handguard to spice up my 16" AR. And yes awsome! This does require a shaved or low profile gasblock. It comes with a special barrel nut (full dissambly). But I was truly happy with the build. :)
